Using MB-12 Caliber High - Quality Stone Polishing Powder is easy. First, preparation is key. Finish the honing process to get the clearest results and protect surrounding surfaces from splatters. For countertops, target a 2 - 3 sq ft area. Sprinkle ¼ teaspoon of the powder in a circular pattern a bit smaller than the polishing pad. Then add water to make a slurry. Use a white polishing pad with a variable - speed right - angle grinder/polisher set to low speed. Spread the slurry, apply pressure until it's almost dry, then increase speed, lighten pressure, and buff to a shine. Remove streaks with a clean, dry white pad and a bit of water. For floors, target a 10 - 12 sq ft area. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the powder in the center and add water to form a slurry. Use a hog’s hair pad with a 1.5 hp floor machine (max 175 RPM) to spread it evenly. Polish in a spiral motion until the slurry dries and the surface shines. Flip or rinse the pad every 100 sq ft. Remember, this product is for professional use only. Different stones may need changes in powder amount, water, speed, and pressure. Always check the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before using it. To maintain good performance, keep the powder in a dry place and follow the usage steps carefully.
