The FS351 Gasoline Self-Propelled Scarifier / Shaver comes with a Depth Control System (DCS). It offers all the benefits and performance of our standard SMITH FS351, but now with DCS. It features an all-steel chassis, lockable depth-control settings. It's adaptable for diamond shaving, rotoplaning or carbide scarifying, and has a vacuum pickup location to contain debris. Ideal for diamond grinding, leveling concrete, barn grooving, cleaning surface marks, grooving trench control joints, removing concrete curls, and asphalt high spots. It's used by concrete and asphalt professionals who want to use multiple machines with a single user without tiring the operator. It's for outdoor use only. Standard features include a Depth Control System, engage cam lever, vacuum port, remote power shutoff, ergonomic vibration-dampening handlebar, side-loading drums, sealed bearings, and self-propelled design. There are power options for both standard speed and high speed, including electric (20 HP at different voltages and frequencies), propane (25 HP Kohler), and gasoline (38 HP Kohler). It has a removal capacity of up to 15' wide, 3/8' depth per pass, and can cover up to 1000 SF per hour. Using the FS351 is easy. First, choose the right cutter for your job from the available options like carbide scrapers or diamond drums. Then, set the depth using the lockable depth - control settings. Start the machine using the power option that suits you, whether it's electric, propane, or gasoline. Guide the machine over the surface with the ergonomic handlebar. The self - propelled feature will help you move it forward easily. When using it, make sure to operate it outdoors only. Keep in mind the removal capacity and work at a pace that fits your project. For maintenance, regularly check the sealed bearings. Clean the vacuum port to ensure it works well.
