At Powermatic, we're driven by the belief that ambition fuels progress. Every product we design aims to empower woodworkers to achieve more. Craftsmen around the world are constantly pushing the boundaries of their creativity, challenging us to offer the best tools. When we redesigned our bandsaw line, we didn't just aim to meet their expectations; we aimed to surpass them. Larger projects demand more power, greater resaw capacity, and more cast iron, and this bandsaw delivers.
It's built with legendary quality, precision, and attention to detail, which have been supporting woodworkers' ambitions for over ninety years.

Using this Powermatic bandsaw is straightforward. First, make sure it's properly connected to a 230V power supply with a 30 - amp circuit. Before starting, adjust the Accu - Fence to align with the blade and square to the table for accurate cuts. You can choose between 2300 or 4400 SFPM blade speed according to your project needs. When cutting, keep your hands away from the blade and use push sticks for smaller workpieces. For maintenance, regularly clean the dust collection system to ensure it meets the 600 CFM requirement. Check the cast iron wheels for any signs of wear and balance. Lubricate the bearing guide system to reduce friction. Be aware that this product has a Prop 65 warning for cancer and reproductive harm, so take necessary safety precautions like wearing appropriate protective gear.
