Using the Abaco SC400 scissor clamp is quite straightforward. First, make sure the object you want to lift is within the grip range of the clamp, which is from 7 7/8 inches (200 mm) to 15 3/4 inches (400 mm). Place the jaws of the clamp on the object, ensuring the rubber pads are in full contact. Then, use the appropriate lifting equipment to lift the object with the clamp attached. As for maintenance, regularly check the rubber pads for any signs of wear and tear. If they are damaged, replace them promptly to maintain a good grip. Also, keep the clamp clean and dry when not in use. And always make sure not to exceed the working load limit (W.L.L.) of 2420 lbs (1100 kg) to ensure safe operation.
