Using your Makita 18V LXT® Brushless Cordless Recipro Saw is easy. First, make sure you have a fully charged 18V LXT® Lithium - Ion battery (sold separately) and insert it into the saw. Use the variable speed trigger to control the cutting speed according to your task. For quick blade changes, use the 'tool - less' blade change system. When cutting, the L.E.D. light will help you see the cutting line clearly. Remember, this saw has two speed settings: 0 - 2,300 SPM in low and 0 - 3,000 SPM in high. Choose the right speed for your material. When not in use, use the retractable tool hook to hang the saw. For maintenance, keep the saw clean and dry. The Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) helps with dust and water resistance, but it's still a good idea to wipe it down after use in harsh conditions.
