Using the Blue Diamond® Box Blade Scraper is easy. First, make sure your tractor's horsepower matches the requirements of the scraper model you've chosen. For the Standard Duty scraper, use it with 15 - 45 hp tractors, and for the Heavy Duty one, use 30 - 70 hp tractors. Attach the scraper to your tractor using the compatible quick - hitch (Category 1 for Standard Duty and Category 1 or 2 for Heavy Duty). When working, adjust the ripper shanks according to the task. If you're ripping up dirt, set them to a deeper position. When grading or leveling, you can adjust them as needed. Keep in mind that for different materials like topsoil, gravel, mulch, or manure, you might need to make slight adjustments to get the best results. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the scraper thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris. Check the cutting edges regularly. If they're worn out, replace them. Also, inspect the ripper shanks for any damage or excessive wear. Store the scraper in a dry place to prevent rust. And remember, the scraper comes with a 2 - year warranty, so if you have any major issues, contact the manufacturer.
