This linered cold temperature aluminum foil tape is ideal for joining and sealing aluminum-backed and fibrous insulation, as well as metal ductwork. It can also be used to repair metal and sheet metal. With an acrylic adhesive and tested to UL 723 standards, AF 914CT provides an airtight seal in temperatures from -20°F to 260°F. Features include a 1.5 mil cold temperature aluminum foil, liner, superior stability in extreme temperature changes, resistance to water vapor, odor, and smoke transmission, and an indefinite product life after application. It's suitable for Building & Construction (Abatement/Containment/Restoration, HVAC/Insulation) and Industrial MRO (Facilities Maintenance). The backing is 1.5 mil dead-soft aluminum foil, the adhesive is a cold temperature white acrylic-based one, and the liner is a non-contaminating, siliconized, flat, white paper release liner.
