Description

Sanko is a well - trusted brand in core drilling anchors. A recent study reveals that Sanko anchors are 15% stronger than other competitors. These versatile drop - in anchors work with bolts and threaded rods of any length. They are recessed, allowing you to drill the hole the same length as the anchor for a flush finish. You can drill deeper for more embedment in masonry projects. If the anchor is no longer needed, just plug or fill with cement to make the surface smooth again. For proper installation, use our recommended setting tool. The values on the chart are average ultimate values and serve only as a guide, not a guarantee. A safety factor of 4:1, or 25%, is generally considered a safe working load. The concrete compressive strength should be 2,987 psi. The inside threads are machine - rolled for better holding strength. These 1/2 - inch drop - in Sanko anchors are ideal for heavy - duty materials like concrete. Each box contains 50 concrete anchors. The CT - 4050U drop - in anchors are internally threaded controlled expansion fasteners with an expansion plug, suitable for flush mounting in solid base materials such as concrete. Set the anchor by driving the expansion plug to the bottom of the anchor using a setting tool.

Using these Sanko drop - in anchors is easy. First, make sure your concrete has a compressive strength of 2,987 psi. Drill a hole with a 5/8 - inch drill bit, the same length as the anchor for a flush finish or deeper if you need more embedment. Insert the anchor into the hole. Then, use the HT - 4050 setting tool to drive the expansion plug towards the bottom of the anchor. Remember, the values on the chart are just an average guide, not guaranteed. A safety factor of 4:1 (25%) is a good rule of thumb for a safe working load. When the anchor is no longer needed, simply plug or fill it with cement to make the surface smooth again. To keep these anchors in good condition, store them in a dry place. Avoid using them in situations where the load exceeds the recommended safety factor to ensure long - term performance.
