Using the Powermatic PM1800B - 3 bandsaw is straightforward. First, make sure it's plugged into the right voltage (230V as pre - wired). Check the blade length and width requirements before starting your project. The Accu - Fence can be adjusted to align with the blade and square to the table for accurate cuts. You can tilt the table up to 45 degrees to the right or 10 degrees to the left as needed. When using it, always wear proper safety gear like goggles and ear protection. The saw requires a minimum of 600 CFM for dust collection, so connect it to a suitable dust collection system. For maintenance, keep the cast iron wheels clean and balanced. Lubricate the moving parts regularly to reduce friction. If you notice any excessive vibration or noise, check the wheels and blade. The special grooved thrust bearing helps stabilize smaller blades, but be careful when using them. And remember, this product may cause cancer and reproductive harm, so take necessary precautions.
