Description

The Trimaco Peel + Stick Zipper is a game - changer! It quickly creates a doorway on tarps, plastic coverings, poly and vinyl fabrics, and shrink wraps. This double - sided self - adhesive zipper is super easy to operate from either side. Ideal for dust containment systems in various projects like residential remodeling, renovations, industrial restoration, and remediation. It makes a convenient doorway on dust walls to protect surfaces from dust and debris. It's also useful for hazardous material abatement stations. To use, measure the desired door height. After the plastic sheeting is in place, remove the paper backing to expose the adhesive. Slowly stick the backing to the heavy - duty plastic sheeting from the bottom up. Once the zipper is secure, unzip and cut an opening with a box knife. It helps you meet lead safety standards as required by federal law for pre - 1978 home, child care facility, and school projects. It works well with plastic sheeting, tarps, fabrics, and shrink wraps, and provides easy access in and out of the job site. Available in two packs: 06184/4 (2pk, 4 cases, 2¾” x 7′ or 7cm x 2.13m) and 06186 (12pk, 8 cases, 2¾” x 7′ or 7cm x 2.13m).

Using the Trimaco Peel + Stick Zipper is easy. First, measure how tall you want your door to be. Then, put the plastic sheeting in the right place. Take off the paper backing on the zipper to show the sticky part. Starting from the bottom, slowly stick the zipper onto the heavy - duty plastic sheeting. Once it's firmly in place, unzip it and use a box knife to cut an opening. Remember, if you're working on renovation, repair, or painting projects in homes, child - care facilities, or schools built before 1978, federal law requires you to be certified and trained to prevent lead contamination, and this zipper can help you meet those standards. As for maintenance, keep the zipper clean and dry. If it gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a damp cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme heat or sharp objects that could damage the zipper or the adhesive.
