Description

Epoxy 300 Flex is a top-notch, 100% solids flexible epoxy system. It has medium viscosity and offers outstanding elongation, hardness, and impact resistance. This epoxy cures without a blush and forms a strong bond with damp concrete and well-prepared metal. You can buy it in a thickened paste form for easy joint and crack filling. There's also a special hardener available for cold-weather curing (down to 40°F) or faster room-temperature curing. Developed for industrial joint and crack repair, Epoxy 300 Flex can absorb the impact of heavy loads and steel-wheeled traffic. As a coating system, it's great for places with surface movement, vibrations, or thermal cycling that could damage rigid materials. Common applications include wood decks, suspended concrete slabs, mechanical rooms, and exterior aggregate-filled flooring. It has also worked well as a coating for aluminum and steel ship decks. Key features include being a 100% solids flexible epoxy system, having excellent elongation, hardness, and impact resistance, strong bonding to damp concrete and metal, being available as a thickened paste for filling, having a cold-weather curing option, and being suitable for moving, vibrating, or thermally cycling applications. Available colors and finishes are Clear, White, Concrete Gray, Sterling, Slate, Buff, and Fast Cure. Kit sizes are 1 1/2 Gallons and 15 Gallons.

Using Epoxy 300 Flex is straightforward. First, make sure the surface of damp concrete or metal is properly prepared. If you're using it for joint and crack filling, the thickened paste version is the way to go. Just apply it evenly into the joints or cracks. For coating applications like on wood decks or ship decks, use a suitable applicator. When it comes to curing, if it's cold (down to 40°F), use the special hardener provided. For normal room - temperature curing, you can choose the regular hardener or the accelerated option. Some important notes: Always wear appropriate protective gear when handling the epoxy. Store it in a cool, dry place. If you're working in an area with ventilation issues, make sure to use proper ventilation equipment. For maintenance, keep an eye on the coated surface. If there are any signs of wear or damage, you may need to recoat parts of the surface. Over time, cleaning with a mild detergent can help keep the surface looking good.
