Description

This Sanko concrete anchor is a breeze to install! You don't need any special tools. Just hammer the pin in, and the anchor will automatically tension itself. It comes in a box of 30. The 1/2' x 2-3/4' C-Type Hammer Drive Anchor saves you time. You don't need a special tool, depth gauge, or torque wrench. Simply drive the pin flush with the top for a solid anchor setting. Made of high-strength steel with greater leg expansion, it grips firmer than anchors made from other metals like lead. Unlike other anchor styles that rise when tightening the nut, this one doesn't need a longer anchor for the same load value. It's easy to inspect, and the center pin is designed not to break. The C-4070U from Sanko has a hardened center pin driven through the center to expand the anchor. It includes a nut and washer that can be set at various depths. Installation is easy as the hole depth isn't critical and no special tool is needed. Just hammer the pin in, and the anchor tensions itself. It's set when the center pin is flush with the top of the bolt, making inspection a snap. Screw Thread: 1/2'. Thread Length: 1-3/16'. Outside Diameter x Length: 1/2' x 3-9/16'. Drill Bit Diameter: 1/2'. Embedment Depth: 2'. Tension Load: 4,255 lbs. Shear Load: 5,556 lbs. Box Quantity: 30 pcs.

Using this Sanko hammer drive strike anchor is easy. First, drill a hole with a 1/2' drill bit to an embedment depth of 2'. You don't need to be super precise with the hole depth. Then, insert the anchor into the hole. Next, hammer the pin in. The anchor will automatically tension itself. When the center pin is flush with the top of the bolt, the anchor is set. You can easily check if it's set correctly. Remember, you don't need any special tools like a depth gauge or torque wrench. This anchor is made of high - strength steel, so it's durable. But don't use it for loads higher than its rated tension load of 4,255 lbs or shear load of 5,556 lbs. To maintain it, keep it dry and free from rust. If you notice any damage to the center pin or the anchor body, replace it.
