Low - Pressure One - Component Polyurethane Foam Sealant (OCF)
HandiFoam® Black is a moisture - cured, multipurpose foam sealant in a sleek black color. It's specially formulated for areas where appearance matters, like landscaping, pond and waterfall designs, or vehicle undercarriages. This sealant is UL GREENGUARD Gold Certified, which means it helps create healthier indoor environments.
Available in various sizes, you can dispense HandiFoam Black using a straw applicator or a Handi - Tool® Dispensing Unit. It offers an R - value of 4.5 at 1' thick. The density varies: 1.0 lb./ft3 (16 kg/m3) for gun foam and 1.1 lb./ft3 (17.6 kg/m3) for straw foam. It becomes tack - free in about 5 minutes, can be cut in less than 1 hour, and fully cures within 12 - 24 hours. With 70% closed cell content, it has a great cell structure. It also has a good fire rating: ASTM E84/UL 723 Caulking & Sealant @ ¾' bead, with a flame spread of 25 and smoke developed of 50. It has approvals like GREENGUARD Gold and CCMC #13626 - L, and a shelf life of 12 months.
