Pallet Dumper/Retainer

Easily dump loaded pallets from the seat of your fork truck with our all-welded steel Pallet Dumper. This unit attaches to forks and is secured by a safety chain. Two retainers hold the pallet steady while dumping contents into a hopper or dumpster. Once the retainers clear the pallet's end, raise the forks to keep the pallet on them. Lift the pallet to the dumping height and rest it on the dumpster edge. Pull the cable to release the fork carriage, allowing the pallet to tilt and dump the load. When done, simply lower until the carriage latches. All measurements are approximate, and slight variations may occur. The shown weights are approximate shipping weights. The model PAL-D/R has a usable fork pocket of 7-1/2'x2-1/2', a usable fork length of 52', an overall width of 33', a capacity of 2,000 lbs, and weighs 300 lbs.

Using the Pallet Dumper is easy. First, attach the unit to your fork truck's forks and secure it with the safety chain. When you want to dump a loaded pallet, use the two retainers to hold the pallet in place as you dump the contents into a hopper or dumpster. Once the retainers pass the other end of the pallet, raise the forks to keep the pallet on them. Lift the pallet up to the right height and rest it on the edge of the dumpster. Then, pull the cable to release the fork carriage so the pallet can tilt and dump the load. After you're finished, just lower the forks until the carriage latches. Remember that all the measurements we give are approximate, so there might be small differences. The weights we show are for shipping, so they're also approximate. As for maintenance, regularly check the safety chain and the retainers for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice anything wrong, don't use the dumper until you've fixed it.
